Meet Robopanda, members. A creepy, multiple personality toy manufactured by the HongKong concern, WowWee. Two things to note: If we were living in 1982, this overprogrammed doll would sport the straightforward moniker 'Panda' rather than the tag line "Your First Real Robotic Friend." Second, Robopanda has an active 'reverse engineering' online community populated by maverick poindexters dedicated to giving the creature something more than 'Friend Mode,' bad jokes, and inane songs. Like Robopanda, you have a couple options this week, if you feel your programming getting stupid. Go retro and leave the emulators, SPI decoders, and WAV flies behind or go underground for some intervention engineering.
