As in Atheism, members. Yes, even you believers. And especially you believers of belief. Don't freak out. It's just for seven days (and, yes, seven nights). Why get godless? Because on March 25, 1811, Mr. Percy Bysshe Shelley - the romantic poet who would unbound Prometheus, help invent Frankenstein and point out the colossal wreckage in Ozymandias' sneer of cold command - got the boot from Oxford for writing a pamphlet called "The Necessity of Atheism." So what better way to wax the half fortnight than to expel any higher institution that puts limits on the freedom mind's eye? After all, the root of monotheism is the same as monotony; that of pantheism parallels pantaloons; while the heart of atheism - atlas and atomism - is where it's at.
