Green means go, members. Green eggs and ham. The color of money? Green. Emerald City? Green. “The good green grass, that delicate miracle, the ever-recurringgrass.”1 Evergreen. Nightvision green. Green with envy. “The Spring with its wavin' green grass and heaps of sweet-smellin' flowers on every hill and in every dale.”2 The Green Lantern. The Green Party. As an adjective, akin to Old English growan to grow, and a wavelength roughly 520 – 570 nanometers, Green is usually a little unruly, but always indicative of possibility.
